Saturday’s loss to the Tennessee Volunteers was a tough one.
Everyone was hoping for a bounce back win and an end to the losing streak against the Volunteers in Knoxville, but the Kentucky Wildcats were soundly defeated by a struggling Tennessee team.
Things got off to a bad start and Kentucky was never able to get anything going offensively. Drive after drive would start well and then stall after the Wildcats crossed midfield. And the defense was unable to stop Tennessee’s offense, even after safety Darius West returned from his first half suspension.
