Kentucky Football’s Mark Stoops has done a fantastic job of reviving the program and he is getting paid very nicely for his efforts.
24/7 Sports has the list of the top paid college football coaches in the country and Stoops is tied for #17.
Kentucky wrapped up Stoops to a lucrative long-term deal last August, paying him an extra $500,000 a year through 2025. The Wildcats’ contract details were sent via press release as follows:
“The term of the contract is unaffected by the amendment and lasts through June 30, 2025,” Kentucky said in its release.
