Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops was named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week on Monday.
Stoops led the Wildcats (7-5) to a 38-31 victory over No. 10 Louisville on Saturday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky football head coach Mark Stoops has been named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week Presented by PNC Bank, officials from the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation and Peach Bowl, Inc. announced Monday.
The Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week award honors a football coach who led his team to a significant victory during the previous week, while also embodying the award’s three pillars of scholarship, leadership and integrity.
