Mark Stoops is embracing his inherited Kentucky roots.
The Kentucky Football head coach and his wife Chantel are investing in a new local bourbon business and distillery, Old Wm. Tarr bourbon, according to Wave3news.
“It’s been a really cool investment for several reasons,” Chantel Stoops said. “For one thing, it’s a lot of fun and it’s so neat to learn about the bourbon.”

The bourbon is named after Paris, KY native William Tarr, who owned and operated Lexington’s first federally registered distillery back in the 1860s-70s.
