Kentucky head coach Mark Pope met with the media following tonight’s 98-67 win over Minnesota State-Mankato.
Pope recapped the win and pointed out a few things he wants to work on before the regular season tips off next week.
Most importantly, he gave an update on Amari Williams, who left the game early with what appeared to be a knee injury.
“I think he’s doing fine,” Pope said after the game. “I think x-rays came back solid but there will be more imaging tomorrow. But we are hopeful he will be back soon.”
