LEXINGTON, Ky. – By John Calipari’s Kentucky standard, his current roster might as well be a throwback to a bygone era.
For the first time in his eight seasons as UK’s head coach, Calipari includes three seniors in his primary rotation. On Tuesday, those seniors – Dominique Hawkins, Derek Willis and Mychal Mulder – will play a final game at Rupp Arena, but the senior night festivities could have easily included one more player.
Instead, former Wildcat Marcus Lee will watch his friends and former teammates say goodbye to Rupp Arena from across the country, where he is currently sitting out the season as a transfer at the University of California in Berkeley.
