Makur Maker now reconsidering college, interested in Kentucky

Despite declaring for the NBA Draft this morning, 2020 five-star center Makur Maker now says he will be keeping his options open and could play college basketball next season.

Due to the uncertainty of the pre-draft process and his inability to work out for teams due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Maker will not be signing with an agent and will maintain his college eligibility.

“I was planning on getting some workouts with some teams, I still do not know how that is going to go,” the five-star center said in an interview with Evan Daniels of 247Sports.
