Not only did Travis Perry set a new Lyon County single-game scoring record, but he did so with a special guest in attendance.
On Thursday night, Perry, a four-star class of 2024 shooting guard, dropped 61 points on Dawson Springs with Kentucky head coach John Calipari and assistant coach KT Turner watching from the sidelines. The high school junior received a scholarship offer from the home-state Wildcats back in June, but momentum had seemingly slowed down between the two sides until last night.
