Travis Perry, a four-star point guard out of Eddyville (KY) Lyon County, will play his college basketball for the home-state Wildcats.
On Sunday afternoon at his high school, Perry announced live on the 247Sports YouTube channel that he has committed to Kentucky. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound floor general was down to a list of finalists that also included Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Western Kentucky, and Alabama, but he ultimately elected to land with head coach John Calipari and the Wildcats.
“At the end of the day I decided to stay home and play for my home state school,” Perry told On3’s Joe Tipton.
