Following a competitive loss in Athens last week, the Wildcats returned home looking for a much needed win before the final bye of the season. For about a month, Mizzou was playing as well as any team in the country but the Tigers were fresh off a horrible performance in a road loss to Vanderbilt. There was no hiding from the fact that this was a huge swing game for both programs. The Wildcats were a double-digit home underdog, but it felt like a game they really needed to win.
After 60 minutes of football in a soaked and windy Kroger Field, UK left victorious after thumping a very quality Missouri team.
