The Kentucky Wildcats got a double-dose of great news Monday morning.
It began with All-American Darian Kinnard announcing he would return for his senior season.
And during the press conference for his announcement, Kinnard revealed that senior guard Luke Fortner will also be back for the 2021 season. Kinnard joked that Fortner is too much of an “old man” to tweet it himself, so he gave Kinnard permission to make the announcement.
This means Fortner will use the NCAA’s eligibility relief ruling to play in 2021 as a sixth-year senior, as he’s originally a Class of 2016 recruit.
