Kentucky’s path to the SEC title got a little easier with some help from our friends at Alabama. The Crimson Tide knocked off LSU in Tuscaloosa, 88-82, to drop the Tigers behind Kentucky and Auburn in the league standings.
Kentucky can add to its lead on LSU if it can win in Baton Rouge this coming Tuesday night. LSU will be playing with some desperation after dropping three of four to fall to 10-3 in conference play.
As for Auburn, those Tigers just tipped off against Mizzou at Mizzou. With a little more help today, the Cats could go to sleep tonight with sole possession of first place.
