Former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins made sure to put a major stamp on his return to Lexington. As the general manager of team Loyalty is Love, Cousins’ squad will head to Chicago as they advance into the fourth round of The Basketball Tournament.
Loyalty is Love won three games in three days, culminating with an 88-71 victory over the Fort Wayne Champs on Sunday, and are now officially the Lexington Regional champions.
Behind the three-headed frontcourt monster of Quincy Miller (15 points, 12 rebounds), Isaiah Austin (23 points, eight rebounds), and Willie Reed (21 points, 10 rebounds), Loyalty is Love was able to dominate the second half.
