The UK vs UL game is being moved back, and it's in part because of UL's big matchup with the Hoosiers.
It looks like the Kentucky Wildcats' annual rivalry game with the Louisville Cardinals may be happening at an earlier date this year.
The big in-state showdown between Bluegrass rivals has typically been played at the end of December, sometimes just before or after Christmas. It's even been played around New Year's Eve/Day at times, but this year, it doesn't look like it will fall on one of those holidays.
According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, the game is potentially being moved back, and it's in part because of UL's big matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers:
The 50th meeting between the archrivals is slated to be played before Christmas for the first time in 10 years, a copy of the series contract obtained by The Courier-Journal shows.
