The Louisville Cardinals have finally received their notice of inquiry from the NCAA involving the pay-for-play scandal of former Louisville commit Brian Bowen.
According to Jeff Greer of The Athletic, Louisville spokesman John Karman confirmed that Louisville received their inquiry on March 8th. Greer also reports that Arizona and Kansas received one as well for their alleged involvement in the pay-for-play scheme.
A notice of inquiry (verbal) is followed by a written notice shortly after.
Louisville is dangerously close to getting the hammer laid down on them, as you know. When the Brian Bowen story broke in late 2017, Louisville was already on probation for the Katina Powell scandal.
