The Louisville Women’s Basketball team had a huge win last night over UCONN in the Yum Center and had the largest crowd in Women’s College Basketball this season.
The season’s largest crowd of 17,023 had a hard time leaving the Yum Center though as an escalator couldn’t handle the load I suppose and sped up causing people to pile up on top of each other.
Here is a report and video from ABC News:
Several fans were injured leaving a basketball game after an escalator malfunction at the yum! KFC center in Kentucky. One witness says the escalator sped up, piling people into each other.
