LOOK: Star-studded guests grace Rupp Arena’s presence during Alabama game

Rupp Arena had 20,407 fans in attendance for UK’s noon game against Alabama Saturday, and there were plenty of big names in the house. KSR’s photographer Dr. Mike captured the star-studded guests.

Former Wildcat Reggie Hanson served as the honorary “Y” for the game and was greeted by the BBN’s roaring applause. The Pulaski County High School product played at Kentucky under Rick Pitino from 1986-91, finishing his career with 1,167 points and two All-SEC honors (in 1990 and ’91). After his professional basketball career, Hanson spent seven years as one of the Wildcats’ assistant coaches under Tubby Smith.
