The NFL is changing their restrictions for jersey numbers in the fall of 2021. Tom Brady is not a fan at all, but a few former Kentucky Wildcats are jumping at the opportunity.
Lonnie Johnson picked No. 32 when he was selected by the Houston Texas in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. After recording 117 tackles and seven pass deflections in a dozen starts, the former Kentucky cornerback will switch to No. 1, the same jersey Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon wore for the Oilers.
“It’s an honor just to wear it,” Johnson told Fox-26.
