A couple of 2019 Citrus Bowl champs are on the move in the National Football League.
First, former Kentucky defensive lineman TJ Carter has a new opportunity in Los Angeles at the Rams’ training camp. Carter was picked up by L.A. today following his release from New Orleans when the Saints trimmed the roster from 90 to 85.
Prior to his shot with the Saints and now the Rams, Carter played in the USFL rebirth earlier this year with the Michigan Panthers, where he caught the NFL’s eye with 24 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Before the USFL, Carter spent last preseason in Pittsburgh all the way up until the 53-man cuts.
