Kaiya Sheron knew he belonged at Kentucky not long after he threw a game-winning touchdown pass at Kroger Field in the final seconds of the 2019 2A State Championship to give Somerset its first crown.
“Every time I went to Kentucky it was nice to be there. It always felt like I was supposed to be there, like at camps and visits and everything. Coach (Darin) Hinshaw was always around me and Coach (Eddie) Gran, (Vince) Marrow, all of them,” Sheron said Friday morning on Kentucky Sports Radio.
“They’re relentless. They’re always texting you, wishing you good luck.
