The fourth high school football player from the Commonwealth joined Kentucky’s 2021 recruiting class Wednesday morning. Three-star defensive back Jordan Lovett explained on Kentucky Sports Radio why he wanted to become a Wildcat.
“I committed to the University of Kentucky because first off, they’re a great school,” he said. “I feel like all of the other schools I visited, I felt like Kentucky was the most comfortable with me. Also, they send guys at my position to the league, like Lonnie Johnson for example. The biggest part was because UK was close to my Mom — she’s going to be a Wildcat Mom.
