Well, that Kentucky vs. UCLA game might look a lot different now: UCLA players LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill have been arrested in China for shoplifting, per ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
There were also Georgia Tech players involved, but they were cleared by Chinese police after questioning, according to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.
“We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China,” UCLA said in a statement, according to Zagoria. “The University is cooperating fully with local authorities on this matter, and we have no further comment at this time.
