LEXINGTON - Kentucky football opened the 2021 season in style with a 45-10 blowout of Louisiana Monroe.
The Wildcats' new-look offense totaled 564 yards, while the Kentucky defense held the Warhawks to just 88 yards.
Quarterback Will Levis threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns in his Wildcat debut, and former Kentucky Mr. Football Wan'Dale Robinson caught five passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns in his first game since transferring to UK from Nebraska. Super senior wide receiver Josh Ali added five catches for 136 yards and one touchdown. Junior running back Chris Rodriguez contributed 19 carries for 125 yards and one score.
