Veteran CBS Sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel has died of cancer at the age of 78 his family announced Friday.
Gumbel, who was in sports broadcasting for more than five decades, has long been known as the voice of March Madness.
It truly is a sad day for college basketball and sports broadcasting.
