LEXINGTON - Lynn Bowden is headed west.

The Las Vegas Raiders selected the former Kentucky wide receiver and quarterback in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft Friday.

Bowden led the Southeastern Conference in rushing yards (1,468) despite almost all that production coming in the final eight games after making the move to quarterback.

He caught 30 passes for 348 yards in first five games before moving to quarterback.

With Kentucky’s passing attack severely limited, defenses could key on Bowden as a rusher.
