Larry Brown is in trouble with the NCAA once again. This time, it’s at SMU, where Brown will be suspended 30 percent of the team’s games this upcoming season. The program also received a 2016 postseason ban, making Brown 3-for-3 on postseason bans as a college basketball head coach. He was hit with penalties at UCLA and Kansas as well.
The list goes on: Coach Cal’s friend and mentor received a two-year show cause penalty and the Mustangs lose three scholarships a year over the next three years, plus many other recruiting restrictions.
It all comes after an investigation of Keith Frazier, a four-star guard signed by Brown in the 2013 recruiting class.
