Lane Kiffin is not running short on charisma, or condiments, at SEC Media Days.
The outspoken Ole Miss head coach nearly caused a riot when the one-time Tennessee coach returned to Neyland Stadium last fall. After a call did not go the Vols’ way late in the fourth quarter, Tennessee fans erupted. Debris flew from every corner of the garbage truck workers’ convention toward Kiffin. It was a memorable first game back in Knoxville.
Despite the brief delay, Ole Miss was able to hang on for a 31-26 win en route to an appearance in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.
