Kentucky football’s season may be over, but things aren’t slowing down for Landon Young. The offensive tackle was will be honored at halftime of the Sugar Bowl as Captain of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Young was named as one of 22 participants named to the team earlier this year in recognition of his commitment to positively impacting his community off the field, then later named as the group’s captain.
The Good Works Team honors athletes who dedicate their time charities and other causes of their choosing. Young gives back to the local veterinary clinic, visits with nursing home residents, volunteers at Lexington’s Hope Center and assists with yard work for local church members.
