Kentucky point guard Lamont Butler was named USBWA National Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The national honor came as a result of Butler’s 33-point performance in Kentucky’s rivalry win over Louisville.
Butler was a perfect 10-for-10 from the field, including 6-for-6 from long range, in the win.
