The Kentucky football coaches are excited about their young wide receivers. Four are expected to play as soon as Saturday. There’s a ton of talent, but preparing them for the first game hasn’t been easy on Lamar Thomas.
“Well I pray a lot,” the wide receivers coach said. “They’re freshmen. You see all this gray hair?”
All joking aside, Thomas believes leadership from the upperclassmen can carry them through early lumps.
“They’ll be fine. They’re getting better everyday. They’re going to have their highs and lows, just like what we saw with Dorian and the rest of those guys.
