La Familia used a 17-2 run in the third quarter to take control and never looked back on the way to a convincing 95-66 win over Herd That in The Basketball Tournament Tuesday night at Rupp Arena.
With the win, La Familia, which is made up primarily of former Kentucky players, advances to the quarterfinal round of TBT.
Eric Bledsoe led the way for La Familia with 24 points. Kerem Kanter, the younger brother of Enes Kanter Freedom added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison and Nate Sestina each contributed 11 points.
