Kyle Wiltjer is headed to Spain. Wiltjer has agreed to a deal with Unicaja Malaga in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague, according to the club’s website.
Last year, Wiltjer played for Olympiacos in Greece, averaging 7.9 points per game, including 45.9% from behind the arc. Prior to that, he played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G-League, averaging 20.5 points and 6.4 rebounds. He also appeared in 14 games for the Houston Rockets.
Wiltjer was expected to play for the Portland Trail Blazers in the Summer League, but with a deal in hand, he’s headed back overseas.
