Following in the footsteps of the NBA’s widely successful bubble last summer, the G League has brought 18 total teams – 17 official NBA G League teams and the new G League Ignite team – to Orlando to form a sealed bubble and play a complete regular season. And that 15-game regular season begins today, with the schedule lasting through March 6 before an eight-team, single-elimination playoff begins March 8 and concludes with a championship game on March 11.
Among the participants? Seven players from recent Kentucky rosters spread across four teams, with Nick Richards, Kahlil Whitney, Ashton Hagans, Nate Sestina, Skal Labissiere, James Young and Charles Matthews all set to take the floor.
