Former Kentucky forward Kyle Wiltjer has accepted an invitation to represent his home country of Canada in the upcoming FIBA World Cup, according to the Canadian Basketball Federation.
Wiltjer is among 29 players invited to compete for a spot on the final roster. He is one of four former Gonzaga Bulldogs who will also suit up for Canada. Joining him will also be some familiar faces from the Big Blue Nation, such as Jamal Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Trey Lyles.
Wiltjer spent two seasons at Kentucky before transferring to Gonzaga and finishing his final two years there.
