Following a 33-point, 10-rebound double-double performance on Wednesday against Filou Oostende in the Basketball Champions League in Europe, former Kentucky forward Kyle Wiltjer has been named the MVP of the Week.
Playing for Turk Telekom out of Turkey, Wiltjer leads his team in points and minutes per game in the annual basketball tournament organized by FIBA.
The Basketball Champions League is comprised of the best basketball teams in Europe as they participate in a tournament-style competition made up of 32 teams spread out amongst four groups. The 32 teams play a regular season that runs from October through January with the playoffs beginning in February.
