The Kentucky Wildcats saw another junior taken in this year's MLB draft after centerfielder Kyle Barrett was selected in the 15th round by the Miami Marlins.
Barrett was taken No. 446 overall after leading the SEC in hits this past season. Working as UK's lead-off hitter, Barrett hit .354 in 53 games with 84 hits leading the SEC in the regular season. He finished with 12 doubles, three triples, one homer and 26 RBI, stealing seven bases.
