To kick off day two, fans were treated to one of the top players in the state.
Kyky Tandy, a three-star guard out of Hopkinsville, put on a show in front of the Rupp Arena crowd, finishing the day with 31 points (11-17 shooting, 3-5 from three), three rebounds, and an assist.
Unfortunately for Tandy, he didn’t get enough help from his teammates on either end of the floor, leading to an opening round loss for his University Heights team.
Campbell County, led by 23 points from guard Joel Day and 21 from Tanner Clos, took home their first Sweet 16 victory in program history.
