After several lightning delays, postponements, and even a few cancellations, Week 2 of the Kentucky high school football season is finally in the books. Many start times on Friday were pushed back to later in the day, or even to Saturday, due to heat or storms. The Kroger KSR Game of the Week between Simon Kenton and Woodford County was canceled due to storms in Versailles and will not be made up.
As for this week’s updated rankings, Boyle County maintains the top spot after a 47-38 shootout victory over Lexington Christian Academy and Kentucky commit Cutter Boley.
