It’s our first weekend without Kentucky football since August, as the Wildcats have their annual bye week — a crucial and necessary time for the break. UK is banged up and bruised across the board, with the bye giving the team two full weeks to heal before taking the field again, this time against No. 3 Tennessee in Knoxville. It’s an opportunity for the majority of the team to get back to full strength leading up to arguably the biggest game of the year for the Wildcats.
