With Coach Mark Stoops in attendance Trinity dominated this game from start to finish, plain and simple. Quarterback Spencer Blackburn lead the Trinity offense to 17 first downs and 368 yards of total offense. Blackburn finished the night going 11 of 18 for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jovel Smith of Trinity caught all 3 touchdowns from Blackburn along with 3 other receptions for 122 yards.
Trinity controlled this game at the line of scrimmage, running backs Roderick Thomas and Jovan Smith each gained big chucks of yardage with every attempt.
