Mother Nature decided to play nice this week, and we should all be thankful she did. Week 3 of high school football across the state of Kentucky was filled with high-profile matchups and statement victories.
The main course, the Kroger KSR Game of the Week between Taylor County and Elizabethtown, saw Taylor County’s Hayes Johnson lead his squad to a dominating 42-13 win. Johnson is a three-star offensive lineman from the class of 2024 who is committed to the University of Kentucky. He helped carve out space all night long for running back Peyton Smith.
