At least one company is hiring this week to meet increased demand during the coronavirus pandemic.
Kroger announced Wednesday it expects to hire 500 local, part-time positions in its Louisville division, which includes Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois.
“As we continue to experience unprecedented levels of business, while also looking to support people in our community who are looking for jobs right now, Kroger and Jay C have immediate positions available across our retails stores and distributions centers,” Erin Grant, Kroger’s corporate affairs manager, said in a news release.
