LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky guard Koby Brea was named the Southeastern Conference’s Co-Player of the Week on Monday following a career performance in UK’s upset of No. 6 Florida to begin league play. Brea scored a career-high 23 points and drained a career-best seven 3s as the Wildcats outlasted the Gators in a 106-100 win for their third victory over an Associated Press Top 10 opponent this season.
Brea’s seven 3s were the second-most ever by a UK player against Florida in the series’ history, and the second most against a top 10 opponent in program history.
