2016 guard Kobi Simmons received an offer from Kentucky yesterday and he hasn’t stopped retweeting #BBN since. A five-star combo guard, ranked fifth overall in the ESPN60, Simmons was ecstatic to receive the scholarship offer from UK. He was so happy, he called John Calipari back to make sure he heard him correctly.
“He was really excited,” Simmons’ dad, Desmond Stephens, told Cats Illustrated. “His face, he wasn’t going to do a lot but I could tell by his face. He called me right back and asked if we could call them back because he wanted to make sure that’s what they said.
