Mark Stoops confirmed the departure of true freshman Shawnkel Knight-Goff, one of the Cats’ prized recruits from the city of Louisville in last spring’s recruiting class. There are rumors that Knight-Goff plans to transfer to the University of Louisville, but as Mark Stoops tells it, Knight-Goff simply fell out of love with the game of football.
“Shawnkel checked out, maybe two or three weeks ago or so,” Stoops explained on Monday. “He told me is he was very much not interested in playing football anymore. He lost the motivation and desire to play the game.
