There was no shortage of action in the final week of KHSAA football’s regular season. Four overtime games, an upset, a few thrillers and some of Kentucky’s top dogs playing their best football heading into the postseason.
Here are some notable scores and stories from Friday night:
No. 17 Lexington Catholic (8-2) def. Scott County (5-5) 41-10
1,185 total offensive yards were compiled Friday night in Lexington as the Knights and Cardinals both amassed over 590 yards of offense each. It was the first time either team had matched up since 2008.
For Scott County, they were led by Luke Colvin and Jeremy Hamilton, who combined for 321 rushing yards.
