Team USA now needs to add TWO more players to its roster before leaving for Tokyo. This morning, Kevin Love withdrew from the team, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The Cleveland Cavaliers star has been recovering from a right calf injury that kept him out a good portion of the season.
“I am incredibly disappointed to not be heading to Tokyo with Team USA, but you need to be at absolute peak performance to compete at the Olympic level and I am just not there yet,” Love said in a statement from his agent Jeff Schwartz.
