Kevin Knox said Gabriel was one of two players to guide the players-only meeting that turned the regular season around. Everyone talked, he said, but Gabriel and Hamidou Diallo did most of the leading.
Knox’s respect of his former teammate went up a notch when Matt Jones asked him to pick a teammate he would trust to lead America as the President of the United States.
“I feel like I could trust Wenyen,” Knox explained. “He’s a good guy. He’s good people. He keeps it 100 with you. He’s great to be around and he’s a really good leader.
