Given the past 48 hours, everyone would have forgiven a bad performance from Kevin Knox; however, the freshman proved that winning’s the only thing on his mind right now, putting up 21 points in 24 minutes in Kentucky’s 87-66 win over Missouri. Knox missed most of the first half due to foul trouble, but John Calipari was thrilled with how he responded in the second, putting up 16 points in 17 minutes.
“He was patient in the second half when he didn’t play much in the first half. He came out and it’s amazing how much in the last three weeks how he’s learned to read screens, where he can bump to to get shots, how he can get in the middle, where he can find PJ, which he did on the baseline.
