The accolades continue to pour in for Kevin Knox. After being named SEC Freshman of the Week yesterday, Knox was just named the Citizen Naismith National Player of the Week for his performances vs. West Virginia and Mississippi State.
Knox was the star of Kentucky’s win over West Virginia, scoring a career-high 34 points to lead the Cats back from a 15-point halftime deficit. He was 11-17 from the floor, 5-8 from behind the three-point line, and 7-8 from the free-throw line. His 34 points are the most by a Kentucky player since De’Aaron Fox scored 39 vs.
